A dental emergency can be unexpected and painful. In order to relieve pain and save the affected tooth or teeth, immediate treatment is often required. Common types of dental emergencies are:

Due to COVID-19, we have implemented the following safety measures and new protocols.
General Safety Measures:
Hand sanitation station by the front door to be used by all when entering and exiting the office.
Plexiglass shields have been placed at the front desks.
Social distancing measures of 2 metres have been implemented at the reception desk.
All clinical staff will be wearing facemasks. Receptionists will keep a safe distance when away from the plexiglass shields.
Bathrooms may or may not be available. Please plan accordingly.
The waiting room is CLOSED
Each patient is required to complete the COVID-19 Consent Form (digital preferred but paper available). Under no circumstances are you to come into the office if you exhibit any of the following symptoms: coughing, runny nose, sore throat, or fever.
Your temperature will be taken with a non-touch forehead thermometer when you arrive, if your temperature reads above 37.8℃/100.04℉, we will reschedule your appointment.
Limiting the number of people in our waiting area is imperative. We are asking that patients come alone to their appointment unless assistance is required.
Wearing a facemask is NOT required while you are in our office. However, you are welcome to wear one if you prefer.
Hand sanitation to be used when leaving the office.
For payments: cash payments will still be accepted. Our receptionists will wear gloves when taking cash. Visa/Mastercard/Debit payments are still accepted, and tap is preferred, but the machine will be disinfected prior to handing over to the patient and disinfected when given back to office staff.
Due to the reduced number of patients who we are able to accommodate during this time, and in order to ensure that both our patients and the Dr.'s/clinical staff are valued, our 24-hour notice office policy will be in effect.
